“Designed as a collection of micro-spaces for the Airbnb market, our latest project in San Carlos seamlessly connects interior spaces with their natural surroundings, creating an immersive and harmonious living experience.”

In this particular project, utilizing different materials has been key to differentiating the use of spaces.

The bed and bedroom area draws inspiration from the cozy sensation of a bird’s nest. By incorporating the warmth of wood and lowering the ceiling height to create a sense of compression, we have successfully evoked this unique ambiance.

The connection with the forest is the focal point of this space, fostering a seamless relationship with the natural surroundings. This design allows guests to wake up immersed in the forest, under the trees, and accompanied by the melody of birds.

We love working with local and natural materials. For this project, we utilized native woods to recreate the essence of a bird’s nest, reminiscent of twigs and straw. This project also is remarkable for the amazing relation with community project of permaculture and bee’s nursing to connect the visitor experience with indoor and outdoor real local experiences.

In addition to serving as a bedroom, this space features a pull-out bed for families, offering versatility and functionality.

The neutral color palette enhances the tones and textures of natural wood and stone, while turquoise accents evoke tranquility and relaxation. In the bathroom, a semi-open shower, which also serves as a plunge pool, provides an unparalleled outdoor shower experience, perfect for rainy days.

The integrated spaces seamlessly intertwine with one another. Upon entering, a spacious area greets you, combining a kitchenette and dining area. The entrance to the bathroom is discreetly hidden within the wooden volume that houses the resting area. On the outdoor terrace, a daybed unfolds, incorporating a fire pit area that creates the sensation of being in the middle of the forest.

We design spaces that are not only aesthetic and functional but also aim to evoke feelings and sensations. The well-being derived from being in contact with nature and the sense of healing and mental rejuvenation from the positive energy it provides is at the heart of our creations.
